MyGolfShotZ

MyGolfShotZ is free during our founding rollout.

Effective Date: September 27, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of MyGolfShotZ, including the MyGolfShotZ iPhone and Apple Watch applications, related services, and features provided by Ensemble Software LLC (“Ensemble Software,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By creating a MyGolfShotZ account or using MyGolfShotZ, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use MyGolfShotZ.

MyGolfShotZ is operated by Ensemble Software LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company.

1. About MyGolfShotZ

MyGolfShotZ is designed for recreational golfers to record and evaluate their golf shots, keep score, obtain golf-course distance information, review their golf history, and participate in building and maintaining a community golf-course database.

Some MyGolfShotZ features can be used without an account. A MyGolfShotZ account is required to save rounds and use features that depend on saved-round information.

MyGolfShotZ may change, add, remove, or modify features as the service evolves.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create a MyGolfShotZ account.

If you are under the age at which you may independently agree to online services in your jurisdiction, your parent or legal guardian must authorize your use of MyGolfShotZ as required by applicable law.

You may use MyGolfShotZ only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your MyGolfShotZ account and for activity occurring through your account.

You agree to provide accurate information where required and not to impersonate another person or organization.

MyGolfShotZ may support one or more account or sign-in methods. Available sign-in methods may change over time.

You may delete your MyGolfShotZ account through the account-deletion functionality provided in the application. Personal information associated with account deletion is handled as described in the MyGolfShotZ Privacy Policy.

Deletion of your account does not necessarily remove golf-course information that you previously contributed to the shared MyGolfShotZ course database, as described in Section 10.

4. Screen Names

MyGolfShotZ users may create a screen name. Screen names may be visible to other users in connection with community golf-course contributions.

You may not use a screen name that is unlawful, threatening, harassing, obscene, impersonates another person or organization, infringes another person’s rights, or is intended to abuse or target another person or group.

We may require a screen name to be changed when we reasonably determine that it violates these Terms or materially interferes with the MyGolfShotZ community.

If you encounter a screen name that you believe violates these Terms, you may report it to support@mygolfshotz.com.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use MyGolfShotZ to:

interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the service;
attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
manipulate MyGolfShotZ features or data to obtain benefits for which you are not eligible;
knowingly submit false or fabricated golf-course or round information for purposes of obtaining awards or affecting community validation;
use automated methods to scrape, extract, or systematically collect data from MyGolfShotZ except with our written permission; or
otherwise misuse the service in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

6. Saved Rounds and Round History

MyGolfShotZ allows account holders to save completed rounds and review information associated with those rounds.

MyGolfShotZ is not intended to provide permanent archival storage of every round you play. The number of saved rounds retained by MyGolfShotZ may be limited, and older rounds may eventually be removed as newer rounds are saved.

Round-retention limits and related functionality may change over time as MyGolfShotZ evolves.

You should not rely on MyGolfShotZ as the sole permanent repository for information that you consider important.

7. Location, GPS, Distances, and Course Information

MyGolfShotZ uses location information to provide features such as shot-location recording, distance information, on-course functionality, and qualification of certain rounds for community and promotional activities.

GPS measurements, course coordinates, distances, yardages, tee information, pars, hazards, green locations, and other golf-course information may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or affected by GPS accuracy, device conditions, third-party data, user contributions, course changes, or other factors.

Distances and locations displayed by MyGolfShotZ are estimates and are provided as aids to the golfer. You remain responsible for your decisions and safety while playing golf and should observe actual course conditions, markings, boundaries, hazards, rules, and instructions.

MyGolfShotZ does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of golf-course or location information.

8. Qualifying On-Course Rounds

Certain MyGolfShotZ features, community course-validation activities, and promotional awards may require a round to qualify as a valid or qualifying on-course round.

For a round to qualify, it must be recorded using a MyGolfShotZ mode and features that provide the information required to determine whether the applicable on-course qualification requirements have been met.

MyGolfShotZ may use location information recorded during normal on-course use, together with information associated with the round, to determine whether the golfer was at or sufficiently near the applicable golf course or holes and whether the round satisfies applicable qualification requirements.

These determinations may be made using automated criteria. Location technology and automated qualification methods are not perfect and may occasionally produce results that do not accurately reflect a user’s actual location or play.

Recording or saving a round does not by itself guarantee that the round will qualify for a promotional award, community course validation, or another program benefit.

Qualification criteria, eligible modes, and validation methods may change as MyGolfShotZ develops. If you believe a legitimate on-course round was incorrectly determined not to qualify, you may contact support@mygolfshotz.com.

9. Community Founders Program and Round Tokens

MyGolfShotZ may operate promotional programs, including the Community Founders Program, through which users can earn Round Tokens for qualifying activities.

Round Tokens are promotional credits awarded by MyGolfShotZ. They are not money or currency, have no cash value, are not currently available for purchase, and cannot be redeemed for money.

Qualifying activities may include creating an account, playing and saving qualifying on-course rounds, helping validate community golf courses, reviewing or adding golf-course information for a course that later becomes community validated, or other activities established by MyGolfShotZ.

Award amounts, qualifying activities, award limits, course-validation requirements, and other program rules may change over time. Current program rules may be communicated through MyGolfShotZ, the MyGolfShotZ website, email, or other program materials or communications.

Eligibility for a new Round Token award is determined under the program rules, award amounts, eligibility requirements, limits, and other program parameters in effect when that award is considered. Changes generally apply to future awards and do not, by themselves, remove Round Tokens that were previously and legitimately awarded.

For example, if a user’s previous awards already equal or exceed a current award maximum, that user may not be eligible for additional awards even if earlier awards were earned when a higher maximum applied.

MyGolfShotZ may correct or reverse Round Token awards resulting from technical or administrative errors, duplicate awards, fraud, manipulation, abuse, or violations of these Terms or applicable program rules.

Round Tokens that were legitimately awarded do not currently expire through the ordinary passage of time. Round Tokens are associated with the user’s MyGolfShotZ account and are forfeited when that account is deleted.

Round Tokens may not be sold, exchanged for money or other consideration, or redeemed for cash. Round Tokens may not be transferred to another user except through any sharing or transfer functionality that MyGolfShotZ may expressly provide and subject to the rules applicable to that functionality. MyGolfShotZ does not currently promise or guarantee that Round Token transfer functionality will be provided.

During promotional or founding periods, MyGolfShotZ may allow users to save rounds without deducting Round Tokens. The existence of a promotional period does not guarantee that saving rounds will remain free indefinitely.

Ensemble Software may introduce paid features or usage options in the future. Any applicable pricing and purchase terms will be disclosed if and when such options are introduced.

10. Community Golf-Course Contributions

MyGolfShotZ allows users to add, review, correct, validate, or otherwise contribute information about golf courses. This may include course and facility information, tees, pars, yardages, hole information, and GPS coordinates.

When you contribute golf-course information, you understand that you are contributing it for inclusion in a shared course database intended for use by the MyGolfShotZ community.

By submitting golf-course information, you grant Ensemble Software LLC a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, reproduce, modify, correct, combine, validate, publish, display, distribute, and otherwise use and share that contributed information for purposes of operating, maintaining, improving, and supporting MyGolfShotZ and the golf-course information and services used by or in connection with MyGolfShotZ.

This may include sharing contributed or corrected golf-course information with third-party course-data providers or other services that help provide or improve golf-course information.

Community course information may be reviewed, corrected, supplemented, combined, modified, validated, or replaced by Ensemble Software or by subsequent community contributions. Community validation means that information has satisfied MyGolfShotZ’s applicable community-validation process; it does not mean that Ensemble Software guarantees that every element of the course information is accurate.

Once golf-course information has been incorporated into the shared MyGolfShotZ course database, it may remain in the database even if you later delete your account. Information identifying or associating your deleted account with a retained course contribution will be removed or anonymized as described in the MyGolfShotZ Privacy Policy.

You should contribute only information that you have the right to provide. You may not knowingly copy or submit information in violation of another person’s or organization’s intellectual-property, contractual, database, or other legal rights.

11. Community Course Validation

MyGolfShotZ may use qualifying rounds from multiple users to review and validate community golf-course information.

The number and type of qualifying rounds or unique users required for validation may change as the MyGolfShotZ community develops. A user’s own qualifying round may contribute to validation of a course the user added or reviewed where permitted under the applicable program rules, but additional independent users may also be required.

A qualifying round may be used both to determine eligibility for a promotional award and to contribute toward community validation of a golf course.

MyGolfShotZ may change validation requirements, review community course information, correct errors, and reconsider or update previously validated course information when appropriate.

12. Third-Party Information and Services

MyGolfShotZ may use or interact with third-party services and data sources, including mapping, location, authentication, cloud, and golf-course information services.

Third-party information may be inaccurate, incomplete, unavailable, or changed by the third-party provider. Ensemble Software does not control and is not responsible for the availability or independent operation of third-party services.

Your use of certain third-party services may also be subject to the applicable provider’s terms and policies.

13. Intellectual Property

MyGolfShotZ, including its software, design, interfaces, graphics, branding, logos, content, and related materials, is owned by Ensemble Software LLC or its licensors, or is otherwise used by Ensemble Software as permitted by applicable law. These materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws to the extent such protections apply.

Except for the rights expressly granted to you through the applicable App Store license terms and these Terms, no rights in MyGolfShotZ are transferred to you.

“MyGolfShotZ” and associated branding may not be used in a manner that falsely suggests sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation with Ensemble Software.

These Terms do not give Ensemble Software ownership of your personal golf information merely because you use MyGolfShotZ. Community golf-course contributions are governed separately by Section 10.

14. Privacy

Our collection, use, retention, and deletion of personal information is described in the MyGolfShotZ Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy includes information about location data, account information, saved golf information, community contributions, account deletion, and data retention.

By using MyGolfShotZ, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy and as permitted by applicable law.

15. Service Availability and Changes

We work to make MyGolfShotZ reliable and useful, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, operating-system version, golf course, or third-party service.

We may modify, update, suspend, discontinue, or replace features or portions of MyGolfShotZ as the service evolves.

Where practical, we will seek to provide reasonable notice of significant changes that materially affect users, but circumstances may sometimes require changes without advance notice.

16. Suspension and Termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to MyGolfShotZ when reasonably necessary to protect the service or its users, comply with law, address security concerns, or respond to fraud, manipulation, abuse, or material violations of these Terms.

Where appropriate, we may instead correct data, reverse improperly awarded promotional benefits, require a screen-name change, or take other proportionate action.

You may stop using MyGolfShotZ at any time and may delete your account using the functionality provided in the application.

Account deletion or termination does not affect rights previously granted to Ensemble Software with respect to community golf-course contributions under Section 10.

17. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MYGOLFSHOTZ AND ITS SERVICES, COURSE INFORMATION, LOCATION INFORMATION, DISTANCE INFORMATION, COMMUNITY DATA, AND OTHER CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

ENSEMBLE SOFTWARE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT MYGOLFSHOTZ WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OR THAT GPS MEASUREMENTS, DISTANCES, COURSE INFORMATION, COMMUNITY DATA, OR OTHER INFORMATION WILL ALWAYS BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT.

NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES WARRANTIES OR CONSUMER RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED.

18. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ENSEMBLE SOFTWARE LLC AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE MYGOLFSHOTZ.

THIS INCLUDES, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOSSES ARISING FROM INACCURATE GPS OR COURSE INFORMATION, LOSS OF SAVED INFORMATION, INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE, THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, OR RELIANCE ON INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH MYGOLFSHOTZ.

NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED.

Additional warranty and liability provisions applicable to the MyGolfShotZ application may be contained in Apple’s applicable App Store terms and Standard End User License Agreement.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as MyGolfShotZ and its programs evolve.

If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice where required or appropriate, which may include notice through the application, our website, email, or other reasonable means.

The updated Terms will identify their effective date. Your continued use of MyGolfShotZ after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Changes to promotional Round Token programs are also subject to the program provisions described in Section 9.

20. Governing Law

To the extent permitted by applicable law, these Terms and disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory consumer protections or rights that apply to you under the laws of your place of residence.

21. App Store Terms

If you obtain MyGolfShotZ through Apple’s App Store, your license to use the MyGolfShotZ application is also subject to Apple’s applicable App Store terms and Standard End User License Agreement.

These Terms govern the MyGolfShotZ service and MyGolfShotZ-specific features and programs and are intended to operate alongside, rather than replace, applicable App Store license terms.

22. General Terms

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.

Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.

These Terms, together with applicable App Store license terms, the MyGolfShotZ Privacy Policy, and any additional terms expressly presented for a particular feature or program, constitute the applicable agreements governing your use of MyGolfShotZ.
